Taking care of Jewellery

Over time, most jewellery can get dirty or tarnish over time and to keep it in the best condition for the longest time, abit of cleaning and care is needed.

With my packaging I do supply a small care card but for further information please read ahead.

My jewellery is always made with fine silver, sterling silver or variant gold purities.

If the metal is dirty, warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth will work wonders. a gentle soak will have it looking good as new!

If the metal itself, particularly silver, has discoloured or lost its shine, a silver cloth will get the tarnished surface shiny again with some gentle rubbing in a circular motion across the piece. Alternatively any jeweller will clean your piece for a minimal fee, this can be helpful if the object is complex and has lots of hard to reach places.

If it is practical I am also always happy to clean works I have sold.

If you have any concerns about how to clean/ care for your jewellery, please do not hesitate to contact me, this also incudes any questions about damage and/or problems you are having with the piece.
